The Neuroendocrinology and Behavior Lab at UCLA aims to identify the neuroendocrine mechanisms controlling social behavior through the genetic and neural dissection of flexible social behavior in the African cichlid fish Astatotilapia burtoni. We aim to foster an environment of mutual respect, team science, independent thinking, creativity, and a drive to innovate.
